Welcome to a movement rooted in dignity, inclusion, and empowerment. At Equal Roots Foundation, we work every day to create an equal world for persons with disabilities and transgender individuals—through awareness, action, and advocacy.

We are transforming lives by providing skill training, digital literacy, and career support to thousands of PWDs and trans individuals across India—enabling financial independence and long-term stability.

Through school programs, government trainings, rallies, and online campaigns, we’ve sensitized over 1 lakh citizens to embrace equity and inclusion in everyday life.

About Equal Roots Foundation
Equal Roots Foundation is a people-first non-profit organization committed to building a just, inclusive, and equitable society for two of the most marginalized communities in India — Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and the Transgender community.
Founded on the belief that “Equal Rights Begin at the Roots”, we strive to break the structural, social, and digital barriers that deny dignity and opportunity to millions. Our work is rooted in compassion, representation, and grassroots action.
We champion accessibility, education, employment, healthcare, and legal rights for PWDs and trans individuals through on-ground programs, digital empowerment, policy advocacy, and inclusive storytelling.
From digital literacy workshops and livelihood training to accessible infrastructure and sensitization campaigns — we are here to ensure no one is invisible anymore.
